Biography and career
Harrison Richard Hershberger was born on April 5, 1964 in Pasadena , California . He grew up in North Hollywood , California , and then moved to the small town of San Marino with his mother Jane, father-lawyer Richard and older sister Linda. Turning to creativity from an early age, Gary fell in love with the theater, and outlined his course of further education in high school and went to study at the University of California at Los Angeles . During his studies, he starred in Shane Black 's student play “It Never Rains,” and shortly afterwards began to work continuously in film and television, continuing his studies.
Gary later became part of a stellar ensemble in groundbreaking series such as Twin Peaks (the role of Mike “Snakes” Nelson), and later, in two seasons, “ The Client Is Always Dead ” (the role of Mr. Gilardi).
Gary is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, SAG-AFTRA and the Actors Association of Justice. He loves to play basketball and softball, and also has nine years of coaching experience in the Minor League and at all levels of youth basketball, including at the high school level. Since September 28, 1991, Gary is married to Heather Hershberger, he has four children.
