Biography
Born in 1922.
In 1972 she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic “Carbonate reservoir rocks of gas and oil and methods for studying them”.
He is the chief scientific officer [5] of the All-Russian Research Geological Petroleum Institute (VNIGNI). KI Bagrintseva created a new lithologic-physical direction in the study of carbonate sediments and made a significant contribution to the study and assessment of Russia's largest deposits (Orenburg, Vuktyl, Astrakhan, Yurchen) and a number of large deposits of Kazakhstan (Tengiz, Karachaganak, Zhanazhol).
The main directions of scientific interests: studies of microstructures of carbonate rocks, lithology of oil and gas formations, physical properties of rocks, the role of sedimentation conditions in the formation of capacitive space and the preservation of filtration-capacitive properties of reservoir rocks when diving to a great depth.
