Paul Fentz ( German: Paul Fentz ; born September 8, 1992 ) - German skater , champion of Germany (2018). He won four medals at international adult competitions and participated in the final segment at four ISU championships as well as the Olympic Games (2018).

Career
Fents made his debut in the Junior Grand Prix series in the 2008/2009 season. His debut in the adult international tournament took place at the 2011 Triglav Trophy.
In the 2011/2012 season, he won a silver medal at the 2012 German Championship and was included in the national team at the European Championships in Sheffield . He selected in the short program according to the results of the preliminary round, and took 23rd place. Then he became the 15th in the free program and the 17th in the overall classification.
Fents won his first adult international medal in February 2013 (bronze at the Bavarian Open), and then silver at the Helmut Seibt Memorial .
Having taken 16th place in the short and 17th in the free program, Fents took 16th place at the 2016 European Championships in Bratislava . He took 12th place in the short, 8th in the free program, becoming the tenth in the overall standings at the 2017 European Championships in Ostrava . In March, he finished 20th at the World Championships in Helsinki . Thanks to his result, Germany qualified to compete in men at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
At the Olympics, he took part in a team tournament , but in the short program lost to everyone except Shafik Bessegye . The German national team did not qualify for the final. In a personal tournament, the German took 22nd place.
