Geography
Neighboring settlements: in the northeast - the village of Chasetsy of the commune of Panschwitz-Kukau , in the east - the village of Vučkiec , in the southeast - the village of Paneci , in the south-west - the village of Gorni Vuzd and Jedlica [2] .
The village of Neradetsy , which does not have its own legal status of a rural settlement, also enters the village’s borders
History
First mentioned in 1290 under the name Frisco de Heinichen [3] .
Until 1957, it was the center of an independent commune with the villages of Neradetsy and Nowy Dvor . From 1957 to 1974 was part of the commune of Aushkowitz, from 1974 to 1994 - in the commune Edlitz. Since 1994 enters the modern commune of Burkau [4] .
The village is not included in the official Luzhitsky settlement area .

According to the statistical work “Dodawki k statisticy a etnografiji łužickich Serbow” by Arnoš Muki, in 1884, 63 people lived in the village (47 of them were Serbs (75%)) [6] .
