Description
Medvedovka station is located on the single-track section Ruzayevka - Penza IV with direct current electric traction and belongs to the Penza region of the Kuibyshev railway. By the nature of the work, it is an intermediate station, in terms of the volume of work performed it is assigned to the 5th class. The station’s track development includes 4 routes: 1 main (No. 1) and 3 receiving-departure (No. 2, 3, 6). In the even neck of the station is a traction substation [4] .
The station is included in the dispatch centralization of the Penza - Red Knot section. Complex control over the technical condition of the tracks at the station is carried out by the Ruzaevskaya track distance (PCh-20). The maintenance and repair of automation and telemechanics devices is controlled by the Ruzaevskaya distance of signaling, centralization and blocking (ШЧ-2).
