Santa Coloma ( Cat. Santa Coloma ) is a Barcelona metro station located on line 1 . The station was opened on December 21, 1983 as part of the Torras y Badges - Santa Coloma section [1] [2] . The station is located in the Center district of Santa Coloma de Gramenet .

From the moment the station was opened in 1983, and until the extension of the line to the Fondo station in 1992, Santa Coloma was terminal on line 1.
At the opening, it became the first metro station in the city of Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

General Features
The station has 2 side platforms with a length of 99 meters each. [one]
In the middle of each platform, there are exits to the stationβs common lobby located above the platforms and tracks. [one]
Track Development
In the tunnel towards the Baro de Viver station, there is a woolly exit that was used to turn trains during the stationβs stay on the line. [2]
Reconstruction
In 2010, the station was reconstructed: the platform walls of the platforms were updated, the platforms themselves were covered, as well as the construction of elevators as part of the adaptation of the station for low-mobility passengers.
