Biography
Born on August 15, 1929 in a family of workers Boris Alexandrovich and Taisiya Nikanorovna [1] . Viktor Borisovich graduated with honors from the Medical Institute in Chernivtsi in 1951. Specialized in surgery. From 1951 to 1954 he passed clinical residency in general surgery [2] at the institute. From 1954 to 1960 he worked as an assistant to a medical institute. In 1958 he defended his thesis on "Experimental materials on the role of the nervous system in the pathogenesis of surgical sepsis." In 1960 he moved to Barnaul, where he got an assistant at the Altai State Medical Institute. Since 1962, assistant professor. Since 1968, a professor. In 1970 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Pathogenesis and surgical treatment of obliterating diseases of lower limb arteries." From 1970 to 1974, Vice-Rector for Research, AGMI. In 1975-1977 Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute. From 1971 to 1999, Head of the Department of Hospital Surgery. From 1979 to 1988, rector of the AGMI. Surgeon of the highest category. He participated in the creation of a center for vascular surgery in the Altai Territory. He prepared 17 candidates and 5 doctors of sciences. Author of 18 patents. He is the creator of organ conservation technologies during abdominal surgery in the treatment of various vascular diseases. He investigated a number of complications associated with surgical interventions. Member of the New York Academy of Sciences (1997), corresponding member of RAE, chairman of the Barnaul regional branch of RAE [3] . In 1998, he initiated the creation of the Altai Professors Club [4]. He was elected a deputy of the Barnaul City Duma , was a member of the Barnaul City Executive Committee [5] . He is fond of tourism, photography, chess. July 10, 1955 married Irina Dmitrievna Lovle (divorced in 1962). They have 1 child - their son Dmitry, an endocrinologist, a candidate of medical sciences. July 15, 1965 married Nelly Ivanovna Leontieva, they had 1 child - son Yuri, biologist, candidate of biological sciences.
