Cels, Edward

Edward (Ward) Cels ( Dutch: Edward Sels ; born August 27, 1941 , commune of Vorselar , Antwerp province, Belgium ) was a Belgian professional road bicycle racer in 1963-1972. The winner of the stages of the Grand Tours Tour de France , Giro d'Italia and Vuelta of Spain . Champion of Belgium in road cycling in the group race (1964). The winner of one-day cycling races: Paris - Brussels ( 1965 ), Grand Prix of Marcel Quint (1965), Tour of Flanders ( 1966 ), Schal Sels (1966, 1968), Tour of Limburg (1967), Grand Prix of the canton of Aargau (1967), Scheldreis (1968).
