The village is located on the right bank of the Ob , near the village of Narym , downstream of it, from Narym, the village is separated by the Ob channel.
The population was mainly engaged in the production of railway sleepers (although hundreds of kilometers from the village to the nearest railway). As a result of production activities, the village was one of the most fire hazardous places in the Tomsk region. Currently, Narcomles LLC, engaged in production, has ceased to exist, the majority of the population are unemployed.
