Career
Over the course of a player’s career, Jonkep has only played in Union from the city of Douala . Between 1981 and 1995, winning the 1990 Cameroon Championship and the National Cup in 1985 . At the international level, Jonkep made his debut as a member of the Cameroon youth team (under 20) at the 1981 World Youth Championships , playing in all three matches of the group stage and scoring two goals for opponents from the Australian national team.
As part of the country's national team, he played in two qualifying matches against Zambia in April 1985, as part of the qualification for the 1986 World Cup . Then he played for Cameroon at the 1987 All-African Games and at the 1988 African Cup of Nations [1] .
