Franc Schaubben ( Dutch: Frans Schoubben or François Schoubben ; November 11, 1933 , Tongeren , Belgium - July 31, 1997 , Tongeren , Belgium ) - Belgian professional road racing cyclist in 1955-1963. The winner of one-day bicycle races: Tour of Limburg (1956), Liege - Bastogne - Liege ( 1957 ), Paris - Brussels ( 1959 ).

Notes
- ↑ There were two winners at the Liege - Bastogne - Liege race. Germain Derijke was the first to cross the finish line, but ignored the lowered barriers at the railway crossing. Frans Schaubben, who finished second, filed a complaint against Derijka who admitted that he had actually jumped over the lowered barriers. But soon after, Schaubben withdrew his complaint. At the suggestion of Derijka, it was decided to declare both riders the winners.
