Biography
Born in 1917 in the family of Gavril Nikolaevich and Elizabeth Mikhailovna Polikarpovs. Father in the 1920s served as head of the production department of the Krasnopresnensky Council. Together with her parents, brother Alexander and husband Lev Shelaev, she lived for many years in Moscow in one of the communal apartments of the famous "Bulgakov" house number 10 on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street [1] .

Working as an architect at the Metrogiprotrans Institute , she designed the Moscow metro stations [2] :
