Rishat Gamirovich Gimaev (born February 2, 1964 , Timyashevo , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian professional hockey player and coach.

Biography
From 1989 to 1992, he played in the transition tournament of the USSR Championship for Kazan Itil. He made his debut in the last USSR championship in 1991 in the regular season. In the tournament he played 30 matches, scored 1 goal and gave 4 assists. From 1992 to 1994, he played in the second league of Russia for teams from Almetyevsk and Samara.
From 1995 to 1997 he played in the Russian Championship for Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik. In two seasons he played 59 meetings, scored 8 goals and gave 9 assists. From 1997 to 2000 he played for Neftyanik from Almetyevsk, where he completed his player’s career.
In 2002, he became an assistant to the head coach of Neftyanik, and the next season he headed the team. He led the club for 12 consecutive years, in 2014, after the resignation of Yuri Mordvintsev, he again led the team for another 3 years [1] . He won the Bratins Cup with the team in 2016. After the 2016/17 season, he resigned as head coach [2] .
