Biography
Born on August 18, 1957 in the village of Akhlatyan , Sisian region of the Armenian SSR . In 1972 he graduated from the local 8th summer school. He continued his studies at Sisian Secondary School No. 2, from which he graduated with honors in 1974. In the same year he entered the Tbilisi Higher Artillery Command School , where he studied for 4 years. At the end, in 1978, he received the first official title and, by distribution, was sent to KSAVO . Served in various military districts. Passed all instances from the commander of an artillery platoon to the commander of the airborne brigade. Served to the rank of colonel. During the period of international duty in the Republic of Afghanistan, he was wounded four times. It has three contusions . He was awarded with various military awards, including the Order of the Red Star , the Medal of Honor , For Military Merit , Marshal Baghramyan and many commemorative medals. Guardsman .
