Beslaneyev Khabala Zhanhotovich ( Kabard. Cherk. Beslaney Zhankhuet and Kue Khiebala ) (1886, Abaevo , Terek Region - July 27, 1937 , Nalchik ) - Soviet party and statesman of Kabardino-Balkaria . One of the organizers and leaders of the struggle of the Highlanders for Soviet power in the North Caucasus .

Biography
Born in 1886 in the village of Abaevo (now Urozhaynoye ) [1] of the Sunzhensky District of the Terek Region of the Russian Empire.
He received his primary education in a rural madrasah . After which he continued his studies at a two-year school.
In 1912, having the appropriate education, he worked as a translator in the Mozdok District Court.
In 1919, with the status of Major General, he was elected Minister of the Interior of the Islamic State - the North Caucasus Emirate , which existed from September 1919 to March 1920 [2] .
In May 1920, he was elected head of the Management Division of the Executive Committee of the Regional Council of the Kabardian Autonomous Region , while being a member of the Revolutionary Tribunal.
In 1927 he was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Malo-Kabardinsky District Council.
In December 1929 he was elected chief prosecutor of the Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Region.
In March 1937 he was arrested on charges of engaging in counter-revolutionary activities and the initial sentence was the eviction to Kazakhstan as an exiled, but on July 26 of the same year he was shot.
Rehabilitated September 30, 1992 [3] .
Memory
Streets in his native village - Urozhaynoye, the cities of Nalchik , Terek , Baksan , as well as in a number of other settlements of the republic are named after the activist.
