History
At the beginning of the 20th century, Indians lived here, driven out from more northern places. In 1906, a German company built several houses. In the 1910s, a railway passed through these places, which gave impetus to development. In 1916, a police station was formed, and in 1922 an elementary school was opened. In 1927, a municipality was formed.
