National Team of Northern Cyprus ( Tour. Kuzey Kıbrıs Millî Futbol Takımı ) - represents the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at international football competitions . Currently not a member of FIFA , but is a member of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations .

History
Foundation (1955-1962)
The Football Federation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus ( Tour. Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu ) - was founded no later than 1955 as a union of Turkish football clubs participating in national competitions in Cyprus. The team held their first match in 1962, against the Turkish team.
Islamic Games (1980)
Despite the fact that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was not an independent country in 1980, they participated in the Islamic Games, which were held in Izmir , Turkey . They were defeated by the Turkish national team with a score of 0-5. They also lost to the Saudi Arabian national team, with a score of 0-2, won the Malaysian national team with a score of 2-1, and played in a draw with the Libyan national team, 1-1.
