Judith Zeidler ( German: Judith Zeidler ; born May 11, 1968 , Beskov ), in marriage Ungemach ( German Ungemach ) is a German rower , competing for the national teams of the GDR and Germany in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Biography
Judith Zeidler was born on May 11, 1968 in the town of Beskov , GDR . She was trained in Berlin in the capital's sports club "Dynamo".
The first serious success at the international level was achieved in the season of 1984, when she joined the East German national team and won the pair of fours at the World Junior Championships in Sweden. Two years later, at similar competitions in Rachitsa, she was the best in rudderless fours.
Thanks to a series of successful performances won the right to defend the honor of the country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul - a part of the team, which also includes grebchihi Annegret Strauch , Catherine Hacker , Ute Wild , Anja Kluge , Beatrix Shroer , Ute Stange , Ramon Balthazar and steering Daniela Noynast , took the first place in the women's eights, thereby winning the Olympic gold medal. Married to German rower Mattias Ungemah , two-time world champion, participant in two Olympics. There are two sons and a daughter. Now he lives with his family in Sydney , Australia , where he works as a rowing coach.
