Biography

Galina Georgievna Petrinskaya was born on April 9, 1935 in Moscow. She studied at the district youth sports school, had the second category in gymnastics. In addition, they were engaged in speed skating and swimming.

In 1950-1954 she studied at the State College of Circus Arts (GUTS), which she graduated with honors. Together with Maria Faleeva and Valentina Surkova, she prepared the graduation number “Vaulting on the frame”, which she first performed in different cities of the country, and since 1960 - together with M. Faleeva in the Moscow Circus. In the early 1960s, she prepared a solo number on a hanging rope (Cor de Parelle).

After the career of an air gymnast, she worked as a partner of the husband of a bear trainer Ayrad Vildanova [1] .

She died on December 15, 2000, was buried at the Yasenevsky cemetery in Moscow [2] .
