Wings with 2 submarginal cells, convex clypeus (as well as the supraclipical region), antennae short and not reach middle ocellium, long jugal lobe of hind wing, i.e. extending significantly below cu-v level. Found on the flowers of Calandrinia sp. ( Montiaceae ). Nest in sandy and clay soil. Included in the subgenus Colletellus Michener, 1965 (subfamily Neopasiphaeinae). The species was first described in 2018 by the Australian entomologist Remko Leijs (South Australian Museum, Adelaide , Australia ) [1] [2] .
