Wings with 2 submarginal cells, convex clypeus (as well as the supraclipical region), antennae short, short to middle ocellium, long jugal wing of hind wing, i.e. extending well below cu-v level. Found on the flowers of Calotis multicaulis ( Asteraceae ), Podolepis canescens (Asteraceae). Nest in sandy and clay soil. Included in the subgenus Colletellus Michener, 1965 (subfamily Neopasiphaeinae).
