Biography

Born in , county of Lancashire . In March 1919, he signed an amateur contract with the Manchester United club, and in May of the same year, a professional contract. [2] His first and only match in the club's main squad was on January 12, 1921: it was a replay of the first round of the FA Cup against Liverpool [3] .

In May 1921 he moved to the neighboring club Manchester City . He made his debut in the main squad on September 7, 1921 in the First Division match against Liverpool [4] . Totally spent 3 matches for City (all within the framework of the championship) [5] .

Later he played for the club of the Third Northern Division “ Kru Aleksandra ”.

He died in April 1976 [2] .
