Krishov or Ksishov ( German: Krieschow ; n.-puddle. Kśišow [2] ) is a village in Lower Luzice , Germany . It is part of the Kolkwitz municipality in the Spree-Naise district in Brandenburg .

Geography
It is located about fourteen kilometers west of Cottbus and seven kilometers southeast of Fechau between the A15 and L49 highways.
Neighboring settlements: in the northeast - the village of Golbin , in the north - the village of Gorney , in the northeast - the village of Kosobuz , in the east - the village of Limberg (Kolkvits) Limbark, in the southeast - the village of Kokrev , in the south - the village of Nasenets , in the west - the village of Duba and in the north-west - the village of Bobov [3] .
History
First mentioned in 1315 under the name Krissow [4] .
Currently, the village is part of the cultural and territorial autonomy of the “ Luzhitsky Settlement Region ”, on the territory of which there are legislative acts of the lands of Saxony and Brandenburg, contributing to the preservation of the Luzhitsky languages and the culture of Luzhic [5] [6] .
The official language in the village, in addition to German , is also the Lower Sorbian language .
