Biography
She was born in 1927 in Berlin in the Nizhny Luzhitsky working class family. In 1934 she entered an elementary school in Berlin. In 1938, after the divorce of her parents, she moved with her mother to her homeland in the village of Gros Bukov near Spremberg , Nizhnyaya Luzhitsa [1] . In 1942 she received an incomplete secondary education and in 1943 she married Ewald Kule and in 1949 she moved with him to the village of Tshadov.
In 1948 she received the profession of a photographer. From 1953 to 1956 she worked at a photography shop in Spremberg. Since 1956, she taught at a school factory. In 1976, she completed a three-year training in painting at an evening school in Cottbus [2] and in 1979, the Higher School of Fine Arts in Dresden . Since 1980, she has been engaged in artistic activities in the field of textile fabric design.
Since the late 1970s, she has exhibited her paintings. She painted several hundred paintings in various painting techniques [3] .
In 1980, a widow. At the end of her life, she lived in a nursing home in the village of Lyubush, where she died in 2018.

In 2014, the documentary “Meine Modelle müssen leben” was released, dedicated to the work of Imgrad Kuleyeva. This film was awarded the special prize “Pearl of the Puddle” [4] [5]
