The coat of arms of Lutsk is the official symbol of the city of Lutsk , the administrative center of the Volyn region . Approved by the decision of the session of the Lutsk City Council on August 23, 2007 .

Description

The coat of arms has the shape of a quadrangle with a semicircle at the base. On the red field of the shield is the silver coat of arms of St. Nicholas in full episcopal vestments (silver and gold), with a golden halo around his head, barefoot. In his right hand, St. Nicholas holds a staff in the form of a six-sided Protective (patriarchal) cross, in his left - an expanded book of gold color.

The shield can be framed with a gold decorative cartouche and crowned with a golden city crown .
