Oberförstchen or Gornja-Borsch ( German: Oberförstchen ; V.-puddle. Hornja Boršć ) is a village in Upper Luzitz , Germany . It is part of the Göda commune of the Bautzen district in Saxony . Submits to the administrative district of Dresden .

Neighboring villages: in the north - the village of Tshi-Gvezdy , in the east - the village of Schyitsy and in the south-west - the village of Mala-Borsch [2] .

History

First mentioned in 1362 under the name Furst maior [3] .

From 1934 to 1994, it was part of the Kleinförstchen commune. Since 1994, it has been part of the modern commune of Göda [4] .

Currently, the village is part of the cultural and territorial autonomy of the “ Luzhitsky Settlement Region ”, on the territory of which there are legislative acts of the lands of Saxony and Brandenburg, contributing to the preservation of the Luzhitsky languages and the culture of Luzhic [5] [6] .
