Elizabeth of Nuremberg (1358 - July 26, 1411) - the daughter of Frederick V , the burgrave of Nuremberg, and Elizabeth of Meissen . The wife of Ruprecht , Elector Palatinate since 1398 and the King of Germany since 1400.

Life

Elizabeth was born in 1358. On June 27, 1374, she married Ruprecht , heir to the Elector Palatinate Ruprecht II . Elizabeth became the Elector of the Palatinate when Rupprecht succeeded his father on January 6, 1398, and Queen of the Romans, when he was elected King of the Romans on August 21, 1400. Ruprecht died on May 18, 1410; Elizabeth died a little over a year later, on July 26, 1411.

The couple had six sons and three daughters who had come of age:
