Shelkovnikov vole ( Microtus schelkovnikovi ) - a species of mammal . Hamster rodent . They live in Azerbaijan and Iran . The species is named after the biologist Alexander Begbutovich Shelkovnikov . Recently, it has been regarded as the only species in the subgenus Hyrcanicola .
