Biography
Born on April 5, 1995 in the city of Makhachkala . Originally from the village of Kadar, Buinaksk district.
Sports career
MHL Debut
Since 2013, he played for the Chemist club (Voskresensk) . For two seasons in “Chemist” Nazir played in 46 matches and earned 6 points (4 + 2) [1] .
In the 2015–16 season, Gichibekov moved to the Krasnoyarsk Lynx club, where he earned 28 points (12 + 16) in one season [2] .
Contract with Admiral
After such a game, he was noticed by the KHL club - “Admiral” and signed a contract with him. This club hockey player was two seasons [3] .
Rental to Sakhalin
In the 2016-2017 season, he played 9 matches in the Asian Hockey League, where he scored 8 points (3 + 5).
VHL Debut
In August 2017, Nazir Gichibekov, along with two other forwards of the Admiral hockey club, Ilya Ivanov and Tigran Manukyan, was sent to the team of the Higher Hockey League South Ural, with which a cooperation agreement was signed with the Vladivostok team. [4] In November 2017, Nazir played two matches as part of this South Ural club and scored 3 points (2 + 1) [5] .
KHL Debut
In the 2017-2018 season, Gichibekov made his debut in the KHL. He played his first match with the Admiral on September 27, 2017 in a away match against Dynamo Riga. That season, he played in 19 games and scored two goals [6] [7] . Nazir scored his debut goal on October 31, 2017 in the victory game of the Admiral against the Ufa-based Salavat Yulaev. Gichibekov scored the puck with the filing of Voronin. This happened in the 36th minute of the match [8] [9] .
In the KHL regular season match against Magnitogorsk Metallurg, Gichibekov was removed in the 42nd minute (in the 3rd period) and punished with a heavy fine (2 + 2) [10] for being rude and putter [11] . According to Gichibekov, he suggested that Pivtsakin fight, he did not refuse, and so it started ... [12]
On December 20, 2018, the KHL disciplinary committee decided to assign the status of “Unlimited Free Agent” to hockey players Yegor Antropov and Nazir Gichibekov in connection with the termination of the contract with ANO “HC Admiral PK” [13] .
Return to the VHL
At Ermak HC
After breaking the contract with Admiral, he played three matches in HC Ermak . On August 18, 2018, in the match against Altai, he scored the second goal of his team, which was the last in this game [14] .
Asian Hockey League game
Since January 2019, he has been playing at the Sakhalin club [15] , playing in the Asian Hockey League.
As part of the AHL regular season on January 14, 2019, in the game against Tohoku Free Blades, Gichibeyov scored the second goal of his team in the 34th minute [16] . On January 18, 2019, in a match between Sakhalin and Ice Bucks, Nazir played incomplete two periods. He could not cope with emotions, got involved in a mass brawl and was sent with a five-minute and two match fines to the locker room [17] .
