Biography

He graduated from the private in Paris and the lyceum of Henry IV , from 2002 to 2006 he studied at the Paris School of Higher Commercial Studies, after which he came to work at the headquarters of Dominique Strauss-Kahn (in 2006 he fought for leadership in Socialist Party ). There he met with young employees and Benjamin Grieve (later both became advisers to the future President of France Emmanuel Macron ). After Strauss-Kahn’s defeat from Segolen, Royal Gerini left politics and, together with his father Ismael Emelyan, engineer Jean-Pascal Emelyan, founded Watt & Home in 2008, which sells and installs solar panels (in 2014, he left the director's post in his own brainchild and moved to the international diversified company ) [1] .

In the fall of 2015, he took an active part in creating the movement of supporters of Emmanuel Macron at the earliest stage, which later became the party “ Forward, Republic! " [2] .

On June 11, 2017, in the first round of parliamentary elections he won in the 3rd constituency of Paris, receiving 45.08% of the vote, and on June 18 in the second round he was elected as a deputy of the National Assembly with a result of 65.5%. His rival was Valerie Nahmias, a candidate for the independent and republican bloc. [3]

In parliament, he took the position of spokesman for the party faction and entered the Commission on Finance, General Economic Affairs and Budget Control [4] .

On December 1, 2018, at a meeting of the Council of the Party “Forward, Republic!” To Nogent-sur-Marne with 367 members out of 743 (the event was moved from Paris, where at that moment the demonstration of the movement of “yellow vests” was taking place ) by a majority of 82% of the vote elected the new general delegate of the party (his opponent was the deputy from the overseas district of the National Assembly ) [5] .
