Alexandr Mocerelia ( Georgian ალექსალექს მოწერელია ; born November 16, 1972 , Poti , Georgian SSR ) is a Georgian statesman, state commissioner (governor) in the Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region since August 20, 2018 .

Biography
Born November 16, 1972 in Poti .
He graduated from the Engineering Physics Department of the Georgian Technical University in 1995.
He worked as an engineer in the seaport of Poti from 1994 to 1995, from 1995 to 1997 he worked in the customs authorities.
From 1998 to 2002 he was the regional representative of Magticom Ltd in the Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region , from 2003 to 2004 he was the head of the department of the State Security Service of Georgia .
Since 2005, he has been involved in agricultural business projects; since 2013, he has been Chairman of the Board of the Association of Georgian Nut Manufacturers and Exporters.
On August 20, 2018, he was appointed the State Commissioner (Governor) in the Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region [1] .
Married, wife - Lali (b. 1978), three children - Heraclius (b. 2002), Anna (b. 2000) and Mariam (b. 2014) [2] .
