Biography

Born on June 5, 1947 in the village of Volodarskoye, Zhytomyr Region, Ukrainian SSR [1] . He grew up in Omsk . From his youth he was engaged in classical wrestling [2] . In 1968 he graduated from Omsk State Transport University with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 1978, he received the specialty of civil engineer at the Irkutsk Institute of Railway Engineers [1] .

Since 1970 he worked in the structures of the Ministry of Transport Construction of the USSR , for his participation in the construction of the Baikal-Amur Railway , was awarded the medal "For Labor Valor" and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor [2] .

In 1994, he created the Baltic Construction Company , which was engaged in infrastructure, industrial and residential projects, including the Shayba Ice Arena , the Presidential Bridge , Ladoga Station , reconstruction of the Moscow-St. Petersburg railway and others [3] .

In 2000-2018 - Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of BSK.

In 2017, he became a laureate of his own track award for high professionalism, charity and asceticism [4] [5] .

He died on August 14, 2018, is buried at the altar of the Church of St. Igor Chernigov in Novo-Peredelkino [1] .

Charity

BSK, led by Naivalt, 10% of the profits donated to the construction and reconstruction of temples. In total, more than 70 objects of the Orthodox Church were built or restored, among them the cathedral church of St. Igor Chernigovsky in Novo-Peredelkino [6] , the Patriarchal Compound complex and the Trinity Church in Orekhovo-Borisov , Alexander Nevsky Chapel, Sunday School at Borisov Ponds in Moscow, Troitsk- Peter's Cathedral in St. Petersburg, the Church of St. Michael the Archangel (Toksovo) , a monument to St. Alexander Nevsky at the Alexander Nevsky Lavra [7] and others [1] .

In recognition of the merits of Igor Naivalt, the funeral service was performed by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill [1] .
