Biography

Born on October 15, 1948 in the village of Perekladovo, Danilovsky District, Yaroslavl Region, in a teacher’s family [5] [6] [7] [8] . Since 1961 he lived in Yaroslavl , where in 1970 he graduated from the KD Ushinsky State Pedagogical Institute (Faculty of Physical Education) [2] [3] .

He worked as a teacher (in the Chuvash rural school, 1970-1971), as a teacher in the system of vocational education (1972-1976), since 1976 he was an employee of the internal affairs bodies (colonel, was transferred to the reserve in 2004) [2] [4] .

The poetic debut of Evgeny Gusev took place in 1972 in the newspaper "Soviet Army" [2] . Later he was published in the magazines Our Contemporary , Youth , At a Military Post, Shield and Sword, Police, Veteran, Veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Around the Laughter, Crocodile , Moscow the almanac "Eolova Harp", the international magazine "Poet", the newspapers "Pravda" , "Literary Newspaper" , "Literary Russia" , "Labor" , "Izvestia" and others. [5] The main directions of creativity are poems, stories, essays village, about veterans of the Great Patriotic , Afghan and Chechen wars, lyrics, translations of oriental poetry, humor and satire [9] . Famous Yaroslavl performers — L. Harinuk, M. Sim, V. Kornilov, N. Ksyuk, V. Malysheva, E. Gartsev and others — take the songs to the verses of Yevgeny Gusev. one of the best musical and poetic works about Yaroslavl [10] [11] [12] .

Member of the Union of Writers of Russia since 1995, the Union of Journalists of Russia since 1997 [2] . From 2013 to 2018 - Chairman of the Yaroslavl regional branch of the Union of Writers of Russia [5] [13] [9] .
