Foxes ( belor. Lisitsy ) is a village in the Voropaevsky village council of the Postavsky district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus .

Geography
The village is located 25 km from the town of Pastavy and 8 km from Voropaevo .
History
In 1781, the village was first mentioned in the metric books of the Luchay Church :
“Foxes (Łysyca). On November 30, 1781, priests Vitalis Skorubovich christened a boy named Andrey, the son of As and Marianna Tyszkiewicz. Godfathers - Pavel Matsur with Theodora Esmanchikova ” [1] .
In 1873, in the Luchai volost of the Vileika county of Vilna province .
In 1905, there were 189 inhabitants and 264 acres of land in the village.
As a result of the Soviet-Polish war of 1919-1921. the village turned out to be part of the Luchai Commune of the Dunilovičy County of the Vilnius Voivodeship ( II Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth ).
In 1923 - 35 yards and 195 residents.
In September 1939, the village was annexed to the BSSR by the forces of the Belorussian Front of the Red Army . Administratively, the village was part of the Luchaysky village council of the Postavsky district of the Vileika region of the BSSR.
Since November 25, 1940 - in the Dunilovichi district .
In 1942, Nazi punishers killed 33 villagers in the village [2] .
Since March 27, 1959 - in the Dunilovichi village council .
In 1964 - in the Voropaevsky village council .
In 2001 - 14 yards, 22 residents, as part of the Voropaevo state farm.
