Biography
Born July 28, 1942 in Novofastovo, in the Vinnitsa region in the family of the psalm reader .
In 1959 he graduated from high school in Novofastovo, and in 1961 - Technical School in the city of Donetsk . Since 1962 (with a break of four years, when he served in the navy, he worked in the Donetsk mines).
In 1975 he graduated from the Donetsk Mining College. After retirement, he worked as a teacher of mining machines and automation in the mining technical school.
In 1995, Bishop Donetsk and Lugansk Izyaslav (Karga) was consecrated as deacon and later as a presbyter . He was appointed rector of the Pokrovsky parish in Lugansk .
From 1996 to 2002, he was secretary of the Donetsk Diocesan Administration .
In 1999 he graduated from the Kiev Theological Seminary (UOC-KP). In January 2003, he was appointed secretary of the Lugansk diocesan administration .
On February 5, 2003, Bishop Yuri (Yurchik) of Donetsk and Mariupol was tonsured a monk with the name Vsevolod. On March 9, 2003, with the blessing of Patriarch Filaret (Denisenko), he was elevated to the dignity of archimandrite .
On March 28, 2003, he was consecrated as a bishop of Lugansk and Starobelsk in the Vladimirsky Cathedral in Kiev .
On October 21, 2009, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the UOC-KP, he was appointed Bishop of Slavyansk, Vicar of the Donetsk Diocese .
