Igor Nikolayevich Mogilny (born October 4, 1970 ) is a Ukrainian rower who played for the Ukrainian national rowing team from 1992-1998. Participant in five world championships and two summer Olympic games.

Biography
Igor Mogilny was born on October 4, 1970. He was trained in Dnepropetrovsk .
He first made himself rowing in the 1992 season, when he was selected for the United Team , assembled from athletes of the former Soviet republics for joint participation in the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona . I started here in the standings of men's singles - at the preliminary stages I got into the final C, where I showed the fifth time. Thus, in the final protocol of the competition it is located on line 17.
Subsequently, at the international level, he represented the national team of Ukraine. So, in 1993 he performed in doubles at the World Championships in Rachitsa . A year later, he started singles at the world championship in Indianapolis . A year later, at similar competitions in Tampere, he participated in the eights program.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, he was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta - together with the team, which also included rowers Roman Grinevich , Oleg Lykov , Vitaliy Raevsky , Evgeny Sharonin , Igor Martynenko , Valery Samara , Alexander Kapustin and steering Grigory Dmitrenko , reached in the swinging eights to the consolation final B and located in the final protocol on the tenth line.
After the Atlanta Olympics, for some time he remained in the main team of the Ukrainian national team and continued to take part in major international regattas. In 1997, he played in the eights at the world championships in Egbelet-le-Lac , while in 1998 he represented the country alone at the world championship in Cologne .
Having completed his sports career, he was engaged in the development of rowing in Dnepropetrovsk, and held the position of director of the local Dnepr rowing club [2] .
