Professional career
Boxer began his professional career as a middleweight champion on May 10, 2014 , having won by knockout in the 1st round of compatriot Travis Davidson (2-2) .

On January 13, 2019, Plant won by unanimous decision (scores: 116-110, 116-110, 115-111) of Venezuelan José Uskategi (28-2, 23 KO) and won the IBF middleweight world champion (up to 76 , 2 kg) [1] .
