Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , on the banks of the Gerasim River, at a distance of about 11 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southwest of the urban-type village of Gorshechnoye , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 142 meters above sea level [2] .
