4th Operational Brigade of the National Guard (Ukraine)

4th operational brigade ( Ukrainian 4th operational designation brigade ; 4 BrON, military unit 3018), also known as NSU quick reaction brigade [1] [2] ( Ukrainian brigade of the NSU rapid response brigade ) - National Guard compound Ukraine of direct subordination, which is on high alert. In a team created by NATO standards, the key difference from the others is expert support, high-quality selection of fighters and technical equipment. Located in the town of Gostomel, Kiev region .

The brigade is a combat unit, the structure and management of which are borrowed from the army units of the advanced countries of the world. For tactical planning, the American decision-making model is used.

Content

History

The team was created as part of an experimental program, the basis of its operation is the model of decision making MDMP ( Eng . Military decision making process ), used in US military units. The model is used for tactical planning, as well as for training officers of the battalion headquarters.

Structure

The rapid response brigade includes assault battalions, a tank battalion and an artillery division. The brigade also has a unit for unmanned aircraft, reconnaissance, communications and logistics [3] [2] [4] .
