His Life

Since 1984, Steve Binetti has been a member and co-founder of Hard Pop, This Pop Generation, and BRONX. Selected recordings of these groups (with Binetti) were published in compilation albums under the agreement of the former East German alternative music company Die Anderen Bands. Binetti performed with such GDR musicians as Stephen Garling, Conrad Bauer, Klaus Selmke, Peter Hollinger and Frank Neumeier.

Since 1992, Binetti has been acting as a composer and musician on various German stages, including the Berlin folk scene “Volksbühne”, the Schiller Theater (Berlin), the Maxim Gorky Theater and the Bremen Actors House. Mostly he composed and played for Frank Kastorf's performances, for example, in Clockwork Orange, Fruen fra Havet, Hochzeitsreise (Honeymoon Trip) and Terrordrom. In 2006, he composed the music for the feature film Herzentöter - Killer of Hearts.
