Trofimov Evgeny Nikolaevich (born June 5, 1946, the village of Novoselitskoye, Novoselitsky district, Stavropol Territory ) is a Soviet and Russian statesman, scientist. Since 2013, he heads the Russian International Academy of Tourism ( RMAT ).

Biography
Honorary Citizen of the Novoselitsky District E.N. Trofimov [1] is included in the list of "Our heroes and outstanding compatriots." [ significance of fact? ]
Education
Higher education. He graduated in 1969 from the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute , in 1976 from the Stavropol Agricultural Institute , in 1985 from the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU ; Doctor of Political Sciences .
Activities
At the end of the pedagogical institute, he worked as a teacher in a school for working youth, a rural secondary school [2] .
Since 1975, at organizational and party work in the Stavropol Territory and in Karachay-Cherkessia.
Since 1983, in Moscow, in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU, he has been the Head of the Sector of Belarus and the Baltic States, Deputy Head of the Department of Legislative Initiatives and Legal Issues.
1991-1997 - Vice-President of TV-Inform Joint-Stock Company.
In 2000, during the election campaign, he was a confidant of the candidate for President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin [3] .
2003-2007 - Deputy of the State Duma of the fourth convocation [4] , Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities [5] .
2008 - Vice-Rector of the RMAT for Public Relations [3] .
2009 - the first vice-rector of the Academy , in charge of international and public relations, the management of regional educational structures (branches) of the RMAT , the financial and economic activities of the Academy .
March 4, 2013 at the Conference of the team Trofimov E.N. elected rector of the Russian International Academy of Tourism [6] .
March 1, 2018 candidacy of E.N. Trofimova was put to the vote, supported unanimously, after which V.G. Pugiev as the Founder signed a decision on his appointment as Rector of the RMAT for the period 2018-2023. [7]
