“ GTFO ” (abbreviation for “Get the fuck out”) is the song of the American singer Mariah Carey , released on September 13, 2018 by Epic Records as the first promo single from the fifteenth studio album Caution [2] . The authors of the composition are Mariah Carey, Badraya Burelli, Porter Robinson; Paul Jeffries and Jordan Manswell, in addition to co-authorship, are also producers. The song used the sample “Goodbye to a World” from the debut album of Porter Robinson Worlds [3] [4] .

In 2018, Mariah Carey signed a contract with Live Nation Entertainment [6] , which undertook to organize a series of concert performances by the singer “ The Butterfly Returns ” in Las Vegas for the period 2018-2019 [7] [8] . In September, after the completion of the first part of the tour, the singer announced the release of a new album by the end of the year [9] . On September 21, Mariah became the headliner of the iHeartRadio Music Festival [10] , where she first appeared in front of the audience with the new song “GTFO” [11] [12] .
