Siege weapons (war machine) - a machine ( weapon ) as an auxiliary device and structure for the destruction or weakening of fortified defensive structures during a siege .
The range of siege weapons (military vehicles) ranged from extremely sophisticated vehicles brought by attackers to primitive structures created right on the spot. Designers and operators of military vehicles were called engineers [1] .
