Renzo Silvestri ( Italian: Renzo Silvestri ; October 15, 1899 , Modena - 1979 , Rome ) - Italian pianist and music teacher.

He graduated from the Parma Conservatory , a student of Attilio Brunioli (piano) and Guglielmo Zuelli (composition). He performed as an ensemble in the Trieste Quartet (since 1919) and the Roman Trio (1946-1952). The author of small chamber and piano compositions, as well as a number of transcriptions for two pianos (including Preludes, arias and finals of Cesar Franck ). He prepared two collections of harpsichord music of the 18th century (1944, 1946).

He taught at the Musical Lyceum of Cagliari (1921-1924), the Palermo Conservatory (1924-1926), and finally at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia (1926-1965), among his students Franco Mannino and Sergio Perticaroli . In 1937 he was elected to the Academy of Santa Cecilia , in 1965-1970. its president.
