Geographical position
The village is located in the western part of Chad, on the border of the Sahel and Sahara , northwest of the city of Mao, at an altitude of 288 meters above sea level [1] . The village is located at a distance of approximately 235 kilometers northeast (NNE) from the country's capital N'Djamena .
Climate
The climate of the village is characterized as arid hot ( BWh in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual temperature is 28.6 ° C. The average temperature of the coldest month (January) is 22.3 ° C, the hottest month (May) is 33.3 ° C. The estimated long-term rainfall is 250 mm. During the year, the amount of precipitation is unevenly distributed, the bulk of them falls from May to October. Most precipitation falls in August (123 mm) [2] .
