Born on October 2, 1906 in the city of Gerusy (Goris) of the Zangezur district of the Elizabethpol province in the family of an inspector of a Russian 2-grade school. Brother - Safrazbekyan Gevork Sadatovich (1900-1937), Division Commissioner.

  • 1921–1922 student of a bookbinder, then - bookbinder of a printing plant of the Kommunkhoz, Gerusa.
  • 10.1922 - 06.1926 study at the Erivan Industrial College.
  • 1926-1928 electrician of the hydroelectric station of the Allaverdsky smelter.
  • September 1928 - June 1929 served in the Red Army in the 1st Armenian Rifle Regiment in Yerevan.
  • from 1929 to September 1930 - an electrical technician at the Allaverdsky smelter. Then, by the decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Armenia, he was sent to Moscow to study.
  • 10.1930 - 04.1935 student of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, majoring in electrical engineer.
  • April 1935 - October 1941 in Mosenergo: March 1935 - August 1937 - engineer of the Central Defense Service (TsSZ), August 1937 - October 1939 - senior engineer, October 1939 - November 1941 - Deputy Head of TsSZ.
  • 1941-1942 served in the Red Army as part of the 303rd Separate Engineering Battalion of the Western Front. Senior Technician - Lieutenant. He took part in the construction of electric barriers on the defensive lines near Moscow. On March 20, 1942, he was seconded by the headquarters of the Inzhvoisk of the Western Front to the disposal of the People's Commissariat of Power Plants.

  • from May 1942 to May 1953 - at hydroelectric power station-14 (Rybinskaya hydroelectric power station) (Shcherbakov): head of the protection service, head of the electric laboratory, deputy head of the electric shop, from January 18, 1947 - head of the electric shop, from November 1947 to May 1953 - the main engineer and deputy director of HES-14. He was elected secretary of the party organization GES-14.
  • Since September 1, 1953 - Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Deputy Chief Engineer of Mosenergo.
  • Since April 15, 1958 - Deputy Head of the Hydro Services.

Since June 5, 1972, retired.

Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1930.

The 1951 Stalin Prize winner - for automation and telemechanization of the Uzbek and Moscow power systems. He was awarded medals: “For the defense of Moscow”, “For labor distinction”, “For valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45.”

He died in 1988.
