Teletriumph

Teletriumph is the national television award of Ukraine , founded on December 14, 2000 by the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting [1] .

According to the official website of the award, its goals are:

  • designation of the most significant achievements of the television industry;
  • stimulating the development of domestic television production;
  • creating high standards of television broadcasting in Ukraine.

Award History

The initiator of the award was the then member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting Nikolai Bagraev - the founder of the Tavrian Games group of companies, in cooperation with which the Teletriumph award ceremony was held in the early years. [one]

In 2003, the association “ Industrial Television Committee ” became a co-organizer of the competition. In 2004, Inter Channel hosted the first broadcast of the award ceremony. In 2006, the award ceremony was held in the form of a musical entertaining show broadcast by the 1 + 1 television channel.

The first award ceremony was held on April 25, 2001 in the Ukraine Palace in Kiev - teleworkers in 14 nominations were awarded with the Teletriumph Prize. Since then, the number of nominations has changed annually. In 2012, the number of nominations reached 51.

The host of the first, second and third ceremony was the TV presenter Tatyana Tsimbal .

The presentation of the prize mainly takes place in Kiev (the exception was 2005, when the award ceremony took place in Zaporizhia ).

In 2007, at the Teletriumph awards ceremony, the “Telepress Favorite” prize was awarded for the first time - the first television media jury award in Ukraine organized by “ ”. In 2009, the Telepress Favorite Award was separated from Teletriumph. [one]

Applications for participation in the competition since 2010 are submitted through the official website of the award.

In 2010, the nomination "Special prize of the Teletriumph Prize" was introduced. The winner is determined by the members of the Jury. In 2010 and 2011, Vladimir Borodyansky , chairman of the STB television channel, won this nomination.

Since 2012, the nomination "Discovery of the Year" was introduced. The Nominees are determined by the Expert Council and submit the voting lists to the members of the Jury. In 2012, the award was received by Ukrainian children's channels “ Pixel ” and “Plusplus”.

Since 2012, the jury was divided into three pools: the national jury pool, the regional jury pool, members of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.

In 2013, the broadcast was carried out by the channel 1 + 1 online on the YouTube channel.

In 2015, the award was held immediately for two years jointly - 2014-2015.
