Club career
Antonio is a graduate of the club Atletico Paranaense . In 2018, Marcos moved to the Portuguese Estoril Praia . On October 7, in his match against the Academician from Coimbra, he made his debut in the Segund League [2] .
On January 31, 2019, Donetsk Shakhtar submitted Marcos Antonio to the club’s application on the official website of the UPL [3] .
International Career
In 2017, Antonio became the winner of the South American Youth Championship in Chile as part of the Brazilian youth team. In the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Peru [4] , Ecuador [5] , Colombia, Chile [6] , Argentina, as well as twice Paraguay [7] [8] and Venezuela [9] [10] . In a duel against the Peruvians, Marcos scored a goal.
In the same year, Antonio took part in the junior world championship in India . In the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Spain [11] , North Korea [12] , Niger [13] , Honduras [14] , Germany [15] , England [16] and Mali [17] . In a duel against the Hondurans, Marcos scored a goal.
