Biography
The pupil of the Kansk biathlon. At an adult level, he played for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Armed Forces team. Trainers - A. M. Golubev, E. A. Pylev.
Junior career
At the 2003 World Junior Championships in Koscielisko, he became the relay champion in the Russian national team [1] , and also took seventh place in the individual race. In the same year, at the Junior European Championships in Forni Avoltri, he became the bronze medalist in the relay and the fourth in the individual race.
In 2004, at the European Championship among juniors in Minsk, he was fourth in the relay and 11th in the individual race.
Member of the IBU Junior Cup in the 2003/04 season, the best result in personal appearances - seventh place in the sprint at the stage in Brussels in January 2004.
Adult Career
At the championships of Russia, he became the champion in 2009 in the team race [2] , the silver medalist in 2005 in the individual race, in 2008 in the relay and super sprints, and the bronze medalist in 2009 in the patrol race.
Winner of the stages of the Cup of Russia [3] .
He completed his sports career in 2013. After completing his career, he worked for some time as a coach at the Biathlon Academy (Krasnoyarsk). Since 2014 - Director of the Children's and Youth Sports School for ZVS named after V.I. Stolnikova (Kansk) [4] . In January 2018, he resigned after criticism on federal television channels [5] , but in the end remained in his post.
