Mohamad Wahid Supriyadi ( Indo. Mohamad Wahid Supriyadi ) (born August 18, 1959 , Kebumen, Central Java ) is an Indonesian diplomat , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (since March 2016).

Short Biography
In 1977 he graduated from high school in Purvoreggio ( Central Java ), in 1983 - the faculty of foreign languages of the University of Gaja Mada (English). In 1986-1987 studied at the school of diplomatic service. Later, there he studied several times in refresher courses. In 2000, he received a certificate in applied business from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne [1] .
He began his career as an English teacher at Muhamadya High School in Yogyakarta (1981-1984), then at the Faculty of Economics at Panchila University (1984-1989, 1993-1994). In 1994 he entered the diplomatic service. The first post abroad in the rank of third secretary was at the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra (1989-1993), then served as Vice Consul of Indonesia in Melbourne (1995-1999). Until 2004, he held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including headed the Directorate of Information and Mass Media. In 2004-2007 - Consul General in Melbourne. In 2009-2011 - ambassador to the United Arab Emirates [2] . From 2012 to 2016 - again at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since March 2016 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and part-time in the Republic of Belarus. Credentials were presented to the President of Russia on April 20, 2016 [3] .
The initiator of many events aimed at expanding relations between Indonesia and Russia, including four large-scale festivals of Indonesian culture in Russia (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, the latter was attended by 150 thousand people) and one in the Republic of Belarus (2018), two business forums [4] and others.
He is the author of many articles on international relations in the newspapers The Herald Sun, The Age, Image Indonesia, Kompas Daily, Suara Pembaruan Daily, and International Life magazine. The ambassador’s numerous meetings with businessmen, politicians, Indonesian scientists, students, and governors of Russian regions [5] .
